The Repevax vaccine is used to boost protection against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough) and poliomyelitis (polio) in children from the age of three years, adolescents and adults following a complete primary course of vaccination. It is commonly used in travel, and also for VISA requirements to visit infants in countries such as Australia and New Zealand where there have been recent outbreaks of whooping cough. Whooping Cough is not a single component vaccine and will always come as part of a combination that may include diphtheria, tetanus or polio.
